2023 PGA Merchandise Show
Late January’s PGA MERCHANDISE SHOW, the largest exposition of golf related products and services, marked the introduction and international launch of two exciting new products from USEV.
Singularly, the unique DY Innovate LSV was unveiled for the first time and captured the attention of the attendees to North America’s largest golf products show. This sensational new vehicle features a distinctive wide-body design capable of transporting up to nine passengers, four-wheel hydraulic disk brakes, independent strut suspension and many other safety features not found on other vehicles in its category.
What was of great importance to the Dealers who were seeing the Innovate model for the first time was its original equipment 160amp Lithium Battery power system featuring a 48 volt 6kw Electric Motor. What was significantly equally important to the buyers was the fact that Innovate comes in three distinctive model offerings for variation in selling to their private use and commercial customers.
Of equal, if not greater, impact to the attendees of the PGA SHOW was USEV’s introduction and launch of the NanoIntech Lithium Ion Battery packs powered by LG Energy Solution in collaboration with Z.ONE EV, who is the international distributor of the product. The NanoIntech batteries were heralded at the show as being the most advanced battery system designed for golf car type vehicles. What captured the attention of visitors to the Z.ONE booth was the Design Flexibility of the methods used in constructing the NanoIntech batteries. NanoIntech’s “Drop In Solution” was greeted by many of the dealers in attendance as a huge advantage to their customers seeking to upgrade their LSV’s and derive greater range capabilities and the additional life of battery cost advantages over traditional Lead Acid batteries.
What makes the NanoIntech Lithium Battery so versatile is its Pouch Cell Technology that delivers more power and range. The Dealers were introduced to the innovative system of pouches that use NCM technology and are capable of delivering dramatically more efficient and more powerful output than cheaply and less safe competitor products employing a Phosphate cell system.
The consensus of many golf industry observers attending this year’s PGA SHOW was that the launch of these two high-end LSV and Golf Car category product entries singularly by USEV is that they are being heralded among the most technologically advanced products introduced at this year’s show.
